The Menagerie kept increasing in size once I came along in ’88. We started with one cat and soon one dog. Then things got out of hand.
All but the horses are rescues.

Bailey is a reject reiner, a bit of a grump, and we missed him so much after we sold him that we bought him back six years later. He is a Novice packer, a champion junior hunter, and Mom’s master foxhunter. He paddles like a rowboat and prefers that you don’t tell him what to do. Gamble was a terrible racehorse, a weird event horse, an unbalanced dressage horse, and a jiggy trail horse. He had colic surgery to secure his colon and he has one club foot. He’s Ma’s soul mate. And so it goes. USEA registered: Baccarat, Jockey Club registered: Big Firecracker

IttyBitty’s full name is Ittybittyshittykitty. Original name Hazel Mercedes. I told Mom I found her wandering the streets. I didn’t. She is the household Supervisor, and she loves the dogs.
